The MidStates Band Association (MSBA)       

Aug 25th: The Royal Invitational (September 25, 2010 at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, IN) has room for at least four more bands. We would really like to have some bands from Ohio or Kentucky be a part of our show. If you are interested please submit your registration and payment as soon as possible.

      for the Director's Meeting **

Aug 4th:  A meeting for any school planning to host an MSBA competition is scheduled for Friday, September 10th, 7:00 pm at King's High School. 

MSBA will be using digital recordings this year.  All hosts and participants should plan on judges using Sony digital recorders during the show (judges will supply their own recorders). 

Hosts should be prepared to transfer the digital records to flash drives or discs for review.  Directors should be prepared with appropriate hardware as well (flash drive/disc).

Hosts are encouraged to attended the August 5th meeting for tutorial information if needed.

The MSBA fall director's meeting was held on December 2nd, 2009.  A few important changes to the 2010 season were agreed upon - click here for a summary of the meeting.  Also, a preliminary 2010 schedule was announced.

MSBA is a consortium of High School band organizations in and around
the Dayton Ohio area. There are no "official" membership requirements: MSBA supports many High School band and guard units through sanctioned invitational competitions and a championship show at the
